Lee Clark broke into the first team back when Newcastle was in the old Division 2, and has helped Newcastle gain promotion back into the Premier League in 1993. What Lee has said is extremely sensible, because right now, we do not only need to restructure the squad, we need an influential figure like Shearer to restore the reputation of the squad after Mike Ashley. And there are so many players that wish to come to Newcastle because of Shearer.
We have heard so many former players coming out and stating that Mike Ashley should sell as quickly as possible and that Alan Shearer should be appointed manager. We hope that both these situations will happen as soon as possible.
