Mackay warns Newcastle

Malky Mackay, the manager of Watford, has warned Newcastle that they will be in for a shock when they start of the new season in the Championship.

Teamtalk.com has reported that Malky Mackay has said that Newcastle will be in for a "culture shock".

"It's been a while since they've been at this level so it will certainly be different for them. But having said that, with the size and the strength of the squad they have there, on paper they should certainly be very strong. What they do need to do quickly is appoint a manager who can then stamp his personality on it, whether that is Alan Shearer or someone else."

We do hope that Newcastle's squad will be ready for the challenge of the Championship. However, as Malkay said, the size of the Newcastle squad is huge, but as for the strength, we will really have to pray that they do their best. And Mackay has highlighted the most important part of the troubles at Newcastle - we need a manager. and there is no one, Mike Ashley included, that knows when the new manager will be appointed
