Nolan commits future to Newcastle

Another Toon star has come out and said that he wants to stay and help Newcastle's promotion push.
27 yr old Kevin Nolan

The Evening Chronicle has reported that Kevin Nolan, a £4million signing from Bolton Wanderers back in January, has stated his desire to help Newcastle push towards Premiership.

His agent spoke to the Evening Chronicle,

“Kevin is fully committed to Newcastle next season. He is looking forward to going back to training and helping the club challenge. He’s aware of the fixtures and up for the challenge.”

Nolan last played in the Championship back in 2001 at Bolton, when they were promoted via the playoffs. He has stated that he hopes his experience will be able to help Newcastle gain promotion.

There has been many snide reactions by Newcastle fans about our players committing their future to Newcastle. Yes, many of them have not been good enough, and many are on high wages. We do not doubt Nolan's reason for staying, although it would be good if he took a wage reduction, and Nolan looked like his former self towards the end of the season. We hope he will regain his form, and help us in our promotion push.
