Kazenga Lua Lua, 18, was born in DR Congo, and moved to Newcastle shortly after he was born, as his brother obtained a contract with Newcastle. He soon follow the same route as his brother, joining the Newcastle Youth Academy and currently plays for the reserve team. His favoured position is that of a right winger.
He has played 9 times for Newcastle, all of them as substitutes. Unable to break into the first team, he went on loan to Doncaster Rovers in March 2009, and has made 4 appearances for them, 2 of them starts. Having played in the Championship, he sounded a warning that the Championship was more physical and it would be difficult to climb out of the Championship.
We know that he is staying with us next season, and given the possible exodus of players before the start of this season, we are looking forward to him starting a few games for Newcastle next season.
